membraPure – TOC Analyzers – miniTOC
Online TOC control for pure water systems using highly efficient “direct surface” UV oxidation with online conductivity measurement.
The miniTOC instrument uses the classic flow-through concept for online TOC control. The efficient UV oxidation of organic compounds by the “direct surface” principle in combination with conductivity detection guarantees the high precision of the measured values.
The automated functions of SST and calibration facilitate a high standard of safety and minimised operating costs in controlling the water. The system is controlled on the basis of Windows 7 embedded software and through a TFT touchscreen. All data are encrypted and stored in a specific file for each day. The user has no opportunity to manipulate the raw data.
This is an easy to use system which brings quality control to your lab at an affordable level. The miniTOC is a valuable accessory for all ultrapure water systems. miniTOC can also be ordered with interval measuring, enabling up to 3 measuring points or loops to be controlled online with just one system. The interval can be configured by the user. The minitoc can be upgraded with an offline module so grab sample can be measured.
Calibration
Calibrating the miniTOC is easy and can be done by the user. Online operation is interrupted briefly for the calibration to be performed: The operator simply has to connect the inlet with the calibration standard solution and the diluting water sample. The programmable sequence of the calibration steps will then be performed automatically. The statistical evaluation of the measurements and the corresponding calibration parameters are shown on the screen (plausibility test).
System Suitability Test (SST)
The verification of the TOC results according to the requirements of USP and Ph.Eur is realised by the periodic performance of system suitability tests. The software in the miniTOC instrument enables the user to perform SST independently and ensures the automatic procedure and data evaluation of the test.

The Aquinity² P10 ultrapure water system is equipped with a reverse osmosis (RO) cell to produce deionised water directly into an integrated 10l tank.
Aquinity² models produce ultrapure water directly from municipal or potable tap water. In the next step Type I grade water is produced with a polisher cartridge.
The Aquinity² P10 model is ideal for laboratories with a limited daily need for ultrapure water.

membraPure – Water Purification Systems – Aquinity² P35/P70
Type I water directly from tap water
Aquinity² P35/P70 versions have an independent tank from which RO water can be tapped (e.g. for glassware cleaning). The water quality from this tank depends on the feed water quality; in general the RO holds back 98% of all ions. The tank can be installed at the side or above the system or even underneath the bench.
Tapping of ultrapure water is done with our flexible but also lockable dispenser as incorporated in all membraPure ultrapure water systems. Built-in TOC monitoring is also available with the Aquinity² P35/P70 versions. Aquinity² P35/P70 is the perfect system for a medium-sized lab.

Upgrade for Trace Analysis
Water has to be of the highest purity to detect traces of substances in analytics processes. With the upgrade option, all components are made of unfilled material. Tubing material is PTFE for minimal adhesion. Dead spaces are avoided and the recirculation pump is made of PEEK and stainless steel. The tap valve material is PVDF.
TOC-Monitoring
(only for Astacus² and Aquinity² P/E 35/70)
TOC monitoring during production and intermittent measurements during non-use periods enables a continuous check of the organics in the water. The TOC value is measured between 1 and 30 ppb and can be shown on the display to monitor organic impurities.
memTap
Our new automatic memTap allows the volumetric controlled tapping of water with a dispenser arm. The arm can be moved horizontally and vertically. Tap volume is preset in 0.1l steps. This system prevents containers overflowing and allows water to be tapped without supervision. The 3.5” display with touchscreen provides all relevant data at a glance.

To produce ultra pure water Astacus² systems are fed with deionized water.
Astacus² models are designed for a daily consumption of less than 100 l and are equipped with a MemPak purification cartridge. The Astacus² water purification system is available in different versions (Reagent, Analytical & LifeScience) to meet the specific requirements of ultra pure water for different applications. The systems also have the new fixed and flexible dispenser and a big touchscreen with easy to use menus and wizards.

μS-Control
The μS-Control checks the conductivity of feed water to protect the cartridges against feed water of poor quality. If conductivity of the feed water is too high this water will be rejected and cannot influence the quality of the ultrapure water or harm the cartridge.
